Our Art & Design department is located in the beautiful Mill Building, which used to be a dining hall for the Salt Mill workers. It's a light, inspirational, historic space that can help get your creativity flowing.

Engaging in creative activities is an excellent way to relieve stress from your daily routine and delve into your own world, and learning a new skill through art can also exercise different parts of your brain. We have art and fashion courses that carry qualifications and can set you on the route to further study and a new career, and we have plenty of creative courses that people do as part of our Lifestyle & Leisure offer.

Whichever course (or courses!) you choose, the best part of studying something creative is that you'll have something to show for your efforts at the end of the day!
