This funding is for you if you're in receipt of the following benefits and actively seeking employment or in work earning less than £25,000. 

If you don’t meet the criteria for this funding then, for eligible courses, you may be entitled to the Learner Support Fund if the household income is less than £25,000 (to claim travel or childcare costs the household income threshold is £30,000). Universal Credit: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence from the Universal Credit online system of payment in the last 3 months.

Jobseekers Allowance: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence of your benefit.

Employment and Support Allowance (Work related activity group): You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence of your benefit. .

Not working but claiming eligible benefits and the course would help you get a job: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form.

Employed or self-employed and earning less than £25,000: You will need to provide a recent wage slip (last three months) or P60 for the most recent tax year, or a current employment contract, which states gross monthly/annual wages.

Carers Allowance: You will be required to sign a Self Declaration form and provide evidence from DWP.
