As leaders in digital innovation in Healthcare teaching, via the Local Skills Improvement Fund, Shipley College hosted an 'AI in Education' conference on behalf of West Yorkshire colleges. The event included an appearance by Dan Fitzpatrick, the AI Educator, and was also the public unveiling of our new HAL simulators - the world's most advanced patient simulators. We are the first college in the UK to have this technology available to our healthcare learners. The future of teaching in our region is truly bright!

Shipley College Green Gown Award Winners 2023 UK Sustainability

Shipley College have been honoured as winners of the 'Creating Impact' category at the 2023 Green Gown Awards - the UK awards for Universities and Colleges sustainability and environmental projects. The smallest college, identified as making the biggest sustainability impact!

Congratulations to our students and staff who were nominated and award winners at Bradford Careers and Technical Education (CTE) Partnership ceremony. This included the accolade of 'Educator of the Year', alongside other awards - a massive success for Shipley College!

After being named as the lead organisation in the region’s Digital Innovation project for Healthcare, Shipley College staff have started their training on some of our new equipment!

Creative Media students at Shipley College have been taking their skills to the next level by working on a series of real-world client projects, gaining valuable industry experience while giving back to the community.

Kole Broadfoot-Cox, one of our Art and Design students and avid trail and ultramarathon runner, set himself the challenge of running the length of the Calderdale way, not once, but twice, totalling 100 miles over moorland, woodland trails, boggy farmland and rough cobbled Calder valley streets. Kole has written about his remarkable experience, its an amazing achievement and certainly not something anyone could do!
