WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE

On this course, you will study a range of topics to prepare you for working within the Health & Science sector. These include Health, Safety & Environmental regulation, managing information and data, Scientific and Clinical Practice.

You will learn how to provide person-centred care and begin to understand the importance of health & wellbeing. Other science concepts covered include human anatomy, physiology, diseases & disorders.

You will also have 45-60 days in an industry placement with an employer, which will ensure that you develop and deepen the skills needed for your chosen career.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above. Maths GCSE at grade 5 or above. English GCSE must be at least grade 5.

A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course.
