What You'll Learn and Do
As an Early Years Educator apprentice, you’ll learn the essential knowledge and directly apply the skills needed to be a confident, competent professional in an early years setting.
Lead Learning Activities:

Entry requirements
You must be 17 years or over, and must have a minimum of Grade 4 in English (or functional skills Level 2) and Grade 3 in Maths (functional skills Level 1) . Also, you will be required to have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant industry experience and/or a Level 2 qualification in Childcare. You must be employed as an apprentice in an Early Years setting for a minimum of 30 hours a week (this will include one day in College per week). If you are not employed already the College will support you to find a suitable employer, where you will be required to attend for an interview. You will require a clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course.
Progression Information
After your apprenticeship, you can study further at college or university, or use the skills and experience you have gained at work to progress in your career.
