INTERNATIONAL FLORIST WELCOMED TO COLLEGE
Last week, the College hosted a showcase floristry event and welcomed superstar florist Leopoldo Gomez, a renowned Americas Cup winning international teacher based in Mexico City.
Leopoldo spent two days working with our Floristry staff and students to prepare for his intimate demonstration - teaching his techniques and inspiring our award winning florists to think about stepping onto the international stage.
He was provided with a selection of unassuming floristry materials and worked his magic in front of the audience’s eyes!
Leopoldo's style is widely acclaimed and sought after for its striking colour and texture combinations, and has gained him 127,000 followers on Instagram

This culminated in a fantastic demonstration, where members of the public came and thoroughly enjoyed it.
