Shipley College Corporation is made up of up to 20 Members. This includes two Staff Members, one Student Member and the Principal of Shipley College.

Information on all the Shipley College Corporation Members can be seen at Model Register of Corporation Members 
or at Meet the Governors. The Corporation meets at least once every term and a full schedule of meetings is posted each year.

The following Committees are established according to the Articles of Government:
i) Audit Committee
ii) Search Committee
iii) Special Committee

In addition, the following Committees have been established by the Corporation in 
order to consider and recommend items for full Corporation approval:
iv) Appeals
v) Curriculum & Quality
vi) Finance & Resources Committee
vii) Remuneration

ACCESS TO GOVERNING BODY MEETINGS & INFORMATION

Governing Body meetings are open to members of the public to attend by contacting the Clerk to the Corporation at least 7 days in advance of the meeting. The full policy on public access to meetings along with the approved Minutes of the Corporation and Committees are available on the College website or by application to the Clerk. Access to other information, for example, the register of member interests, agendas, papers, dates of meetings etc are available on request by writing, enclosing an A4 stamped addressed envelope, to the Clerk to the Corporation as above.
