SOCIAL SPACES

SOCIAL SPACES

We have areas where you can meet up with friends for a chat, chill out and relax in all our main buildings. In our Exhibition Hall and Salt Rock Cafe, there are food and drink outlets and Costa Coffee on sale. In the Jonathan Silver Building, there are hot drinks and food available in a student run cafe. As our campus is based in the centre of Saltaire village, we also have some great places on the doorstep. You can go to Roberts Park to relax, explore Salts Mill and take advantage of all the cafes and shops in the area.

CLUBS & ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES

 CLUBS & ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES

There is a lot going on at lunchtime and after classes finish, most of which is free of charge. Activities include badminton, table tennis, football, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, boxercise, basketball, cricket & netball, circuit/fitness training and LAN & console gaming.

We add new activities dependant on demand and availability and have recently added the climbing, mountain biking, caving and kayaking club, table cricket club  and we have linked with a mixed ability rugby team called The Bumbles.

These activities change regularly depending on their demand. If we don’t offer your favourite hobby/club, tell us and we’ll see if we can set it up. You can also get involved in annual fundraising events such as Comic Relief or Children in Need.
